Our Goal: $5,000 Match
We already have $5,000 committed to the Park Improvement Fund as of January 2026. Now we're asking the community to match it. Every dollar you give is joined by a dollar that's already waiting. Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, you can feel good about your contribution going twice as far. Every contribution, large or small, moves us closer to our goals. Here’s what we’re working towards in 2026:
What Your Donation Supports
-
Completing the playground accessibility project — Phase one was a huge success. The remaining work includes expanding the pour-in-place surfacing throughout the playground.
-
Restroom improvements — Drilling a new well, installing timed locks, and installing a changing table to keep the restrooms well-maintained and family-friendly.
-
Paving the parking lot — Right now, only the handicap stalls are paved. The rest is gravel, which makes it difficult for visitors using wheelchairs and mobility devices to get from the parking lot to the park.
-
Paving walkways between the sports courts — Connecting the park’s activity areas with accessible pathways so everyone can move through the park safely and easily.
-
Free athletic equipment program — Expanding our equipment lending program so that anyone can borrow balls, jump ropes, frisbees, and other gear at no charge

About The Park Improvement Fund
The Park Improvement Fund supports ongoing upgrades and maintenance at Stuart Memorial Community Park. The fund is managed by the City of Longville and every dollar goes directly toward council-approved improvement projects at the park. We’re pursuing grants and partnerships to stretch every dollar as far as it can go, but community support is what keeps these projects moving forward.
